weekly goals + meal plan

Good morning & happy Monday!

In the future, I plan to write this post on Sundays, as I always meal plan on Sundays and grocery shop right after, but I had family in town this weekend, so here’s a Monday post for you.

This week’s financial goals are:

  • Eat the food on the meal plan. Seriously. You bought it, don’t be lazy and order Domino’s.
  • Reconcile the budget daily. This is an easy habit to get into, and an equally easy habit to get out of. Stick with it.
  • Sell the highchair on Facebook; Eric has wanted it out of the garage for ages. Put the money in D’s savings account.

And for fun, this week’s meal plan:

The screenshot is from the meal planning program, Plan to Eat, which according to their statistics, I have used to set up 451 meal plans. I have tried about 40 new recipes since beginning to use it, and I love it and highly recommend. If you’re interested in giving it a try, you can sign up here. The first month is the hardest, as you have to get some recipes entered into your planner and get a good system going. The link above is an affiliate link, but I would recommend it whether or not there was a referral program because it has changed my life.

And since food is one of my favourite things, I just wanted to share link from my above meal plan to a recipe that I love: One Pan Healthy Sausage and Veggies. I usually use Cajun sausage, and we’ve tried about 10 different veggies on it and they’re always good. Highly recommend!

Here’s to an awesome week. I hope you plan well and set achievable goals.
